KampSight Site Description

It’s all about the camper!  One of the best ways you can provide a GREAT stay to your campers is to meet a camper’s expectations.   KampSight and KOA.com will help you to clearly tell your lodging guests what to expect before they ever arrive.

KampSight ‘s new enhancements flow right to KOA.com.  KampSight helps you with:

• More descriptions—we’ve doubled the number of descriptions from 10 to 20 available for you to describe your sites.  You’ll have even more opportunities to describe your unique offering of sites. (Note: Twenty descriptions will be available on KOA.com the week of 3/15/10.)
• Clearer definitions for amenities—new fields give you the opportunity to easily define the amenities you offer with each of site descriptions.  These easy to use selections allow you to easily tell your camper if you offer a kitchen, bathroom, and/or linens.
• More room for descriptions—because there are separate fields for kitchen, bathroom, and linens, you’re able to make your descriptions more, well, descriptive!  This frees up more lines of text you can use to sell your lodging.
• More people—now you’re not limited to one definition of maximum people allowed for all lodging/cabins per site type.  Now you tell KOA.com the maximum number of people allowed per site description.  By mixing and matching your site descriptions, you’ll be able to define the max people allowed right down to a particular site if you choose!

A previous enhancement made available the ability to tie a floor plan to your site descriptions.  Once again, you’ll be showing your camper exactly what floor plan to expect before they ever make their reservation.  Be sure to take advantage of the ability to show a floor-plan on KOA.com!

As you’re reviewing your site descriptions and floor plans, be sure to update your photos through the Marketing Toolbox on ekamp.com.  Campers love to be able to see where they’re staying!  (NOTE: You’ll need to review  any photos you upload between now and May 9 to make sure they made the transition to the all new KOA.)
